A lifelong Texan, Betty grew up in Austin and graduated with a degree in Interior Design through the Architecture School at UT. Her love for buildings, homes, and structures was kindled at an early age due to her father being in the construction business. She earned her second degree in elementary education and put her creativity to work in the classroom. Betty could not stay away from the housing industry. She earned her real estate license in 2000. Upon retiring from teaching, she moved to the Hill Country and pursued her dream doing real estate full time. Her family enjoys coming to Lake LBJ at every opportunity.
Betty’s community involvement has included, Junior League, American Cancer Society, Young Life, Burnet County Master Gardeners, and two terms as a Board of Alderman for the City of Highland Haven.
Currently, Betty is serving as a Board of Director for the Highland Lakes Association of Realtors as Secretary/Treasurer. She has previously served as a director and on the MLS committee. To better serve her clients, Betty has earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation, Resort and Second Home Properties designation, and is a graduate of the Texas Realtor’s Leadership Program. Betty has a passion and motivation for helping clients find the perfect place to call home! She serves her clients and community well!
