The mission of Texas Public Radio is to engage in the production and distribution of non-commercial informational, educational, cultural and entertainment content for the people of Texas. Content will be guided by the shared interests of the membership and users of Texas Public Radio media, while adhering to the highest standards of responsible journalism and the values of Texas Public Radio.
Texas Public Radio (TPR) is a community of listener-supported, non-commercial radio stations in South Central Texas and the Hill Country. KSTX 89.1 FM is a regional source for news and views, and the only local source for NPR’s flagship news magazines, Morning Edition and All Things Considered. KPAC 88.3 FM San Antonio's 24-hour Classical Oasis. KTXI 90.1 FM offers a blend of classical music, news and information programming in the Hill Country. KVHL 91.7 broadcasts NPR programming to the Highland Lakes area, and KTPR 89.9 broadcasts to the Texas Big Country. More at www.tpr.org.
