MayFest Vendor & Food Vendor Registration Form

Thank you for your interest in MayFest! Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully. A representative from the Chamber will contact you to collect payment after your application has been submitted and reviewed. Please allow up to 48 hours for your application to be reviewed. Confirmations & other correspondence will be sent via email.

Booth Spaces:
  • Market Vendor 14' x 14' space for $125*
  • Food Vendor 20’ x 20’ space for $200*, $50 for electricity, if available
*Chamber of Commerce Members will receive a $25 discount on registration fee.

Food Vendors Note: Due to carnival contract, no funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, or caramel apples may be sold. Also, if you have not listed it here, you may not sell it at the event.






Market Vendor Terms & Conditions

LOCATION: Johnson Park, 230 South Avenue J, Marble Falls, Texas.
TIME: Vendors are present on Friday, and Saturday only. Vending hours are 5pm-Midnight on Friday (5/10/19), and

10am-Midnight on Saturday (5/11/19).

EVENT SCHEDULE: MayFest is a four-day event with vendors present on Friday and Saturday only. The carnival will run each day; 5pm-Midnight on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 10am-Midnight on Saturday. Free concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday.

ATTENDANCE: Approximately 5,000-6,000 people visit throughout the four-day event.
BOOTH FEE: A 14’ x 14’ space is $125. Make checks payable to the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce and mail to 916 Second St., Marble Falls, TX 78654. Space is limited! ELECTRICITY: No electricity will be available.

SET-UP/TEAR-DOWN: Your space will be assigned when you set-up Friday, May 10th. The Chamber of Commerce provides the space only. It is your responsibility to bring tables, chairs, tents, water, etc. All vendors must move their vehicles to designated parking areas immediately after unloading. CANOPIES MUST BE WEIGHTED, regardless of the weather. Please provide at least 30lb. weights on each leg.

VENDING: Vending must occur from rented spaces and may not exceed the space boundaries. Each vendor is solely responsible for his merchandise, property, and business transactions. Merchandise left unattended is done so entirely at the owner’s risk. No overnight security will be provided. No pets are permitted.

REFUNDS: There are no refunds for this event.

SALES TAX: Vendors are responsible for their own licenses or permits, whether it be food, resale, or sales tax. If you have questions regarding this matter, call the Texas Comptroller at 1-800-252-5555. The amount due for 2019 is 8.25% (State tax 6.25% & City of Marble Falls tax 2.00%).

CLEAN-UP: It is your responsibility to ensure that your area is left in a clean and orderly manner. Trash containers are available on site.

I hereby release the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce and any of its volunteers, employees and directors from any responsibility for any injuries to me or my employees and for any loss or damage to personal property while participating in MayFest. I further acknowledge that it is the vendor’s responsibility to maintain all required licenses for sales tax or food as required by the state of Texas. The Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for any such licenses. I have read and understand the rules and agree to abide by all the rules during my participation in MayFest. I understand no refunds or rain dates can be given due to inclement weather.

ELECTRICITY: Electricity is very limited. If electricity is available, there will be a $50 fee for (2) 110v outlets on a 20-amp breaker.

Due to carnival contract, the following foods cannot be sold at MayFest: funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, and caramel apples. Furthermore, Vendors may only sell what has been listed on the vending application. No pets are permitted.

INSURANCE: You must supply the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce with a copy of your Certificate of Liability. Failure to do so will prohibit participation as a vendor and all fees will be forfeited. Insurance must contain the following: limits of no less than $1,000,000 Occurrence and $2,000,000 Aggregate, Products & Completed Operations Coverage, and an endorsement naming the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce & CVB as Additional Insured with a Waiver of Subrogation.

SALES TAX: Vendors are responsible for their own licenses or permits, whether it be food, resale or sales tax. If you have questions regarding this matter, call the Texas Comptroller at 1-800-252-5555. The amount due for 2019 is 8.25% (State tax 6.25% & City of Marble Falls tax 2.00%). For questions regarding health permits, call the state health department at 512-834-6626. For questions regarding food permits, contact Steve Benson, R.S., with the Texas Department of State Health Services; 512-873-6305.
