Parade Instructions – Friday, November 16th
Parade begins 6:00pm
Please do NOT line up any earlier than 4:30pm
RULES for BEGINNING of Parade:
Line-Up no earlier than 4:30pm. Line-Up is first come, first
Join Line-Up - take Avenue L to 6th Street. Proceed east on
6th Street to Main Street. The front of the parade line is at the
intersection of 6th and Main.
Floats are NOT permitted westbound on 6th Street.
Please remain on your float for safety!
Marching Units including Color Guard (no vehicles), meet in
the parking lot at Main and 5th St (behind First United Bank).
Float assembly area: floats must be complete before entering
parade line. Assembly may only be done in the parking lot of
the Senior Citizen Center (Avenue L & 6th Street). Once your
float is complete, enter line-up via Avenue L.
Parade Route follows Main Street south to Yett Street.
Parade exits at Yett where participants will turn right on Yett &
continue to Avenue J. Right on Avenue J, then left on 4th Street
to Avenue L. Right on Avenue L. (Police Officer will be directing
traffic). Do NOT stop to let anyone off your float until you
have returned to Avenue L at Senior Citizen Center. No
exceptions. This is per the Marble Falls Police Department.
Marching Units will be allowed to continue south on Main
across Yett to Walkway of Lights.
Dedication and initial lighting of Walkway will take place
following the parade.
Volunteers will be on site to coordinate the line-up. With the
exception of a few VIPs and dignitaries, participants will line up
in the order they arrive.
Candy may ONLY BE HANDED to spectators. NO throwing of
candy allowed per the MF Police Department!
