Summer is here, and so is the dreaded "I'm BORED!" Don't worry! The Marble Falls Visitor Center is coming to the rescue! Beat the boredom with these fun activities in and around Marble Falls!

Take a Dip in the Pool!

Lakeside Pool is perfect for the entire family! Test your courage on the diving board, see how fast you can go on the waterslide, or just relax in the 1 foot wading pool. Admission is free for children under 3 years, $3 for children 3-12 years, and $4 for everyone 13 years and older. Click on the photo for more information.

Dive Deep Underground!

Pack a picnic lunch, lace up your hiking shoes, and head to Longhorn Cavern for a truly unique experience! Dive deep underground during your cave tour, and then head to the observation tower for a bird's eye view. Enjoy lunch on one of the many picnic tables, and hit the trails afterward. Lace Up Those Hiking Shoes & Get Moving!

Backbone Creek Hike & Bike Trail

We have two hike & bike trails here in Marble Falls with a combined length of about 2 miles. Lace up those hiking shoes, and get going!

  • Backbone Creek Hike & Bike Trail - This trail is approximately 1.3 miles in length running along Backbone Creek from Lakeside Park to Westside Park. The trail surface is 10 feet wide and is a combination of asphalt and granite gravel.
  • Whitman Branch Hike & Bike Trail - Whitman Branch Hike and Bike Trail is approximately .8 miles in length running along Whitman Branch Creek, Avenues J and K, and 3rd Street. The trail surface is 7 feet wide and is all concrete.

Here in Marble Falls, we love the outdoors! Spend some time in our parks, and you'll see why.

  • Falls Creek Park & Skatepark - Located toward the end on Main Street, Falls Creek Park is home to a weekly farmer's market, water rental businesses, and the Falls Creek Skatepark.
  • Johnson Park - With two playscapes, a sand volleyball court, an amphitheater, baseball field, covered picnic areas, public boat ramp, and more, Johnson Park is a great place to spend the day. Don't forget to bring food for the ducks!
  • Lakeside Park - At Lakeside Park you will find a basketball and tennis court, Lakeside Pool, covered picnic tables, and a boat ramp. Take a break by the open water at this park.
  • Westside Park - This is one of the more quiet parks in the area with beautiful greenery, a playscape, basketball court, and gated dog park area.
